Q: What kind of items do you make?

I specialize in handmade fiber arts including memory bears, pillows, blankets, and custom keepsakes made from meaningful fabrics. I also create sewn, knit, and crocheted items available as ready-made or made-to-order.

Q: What does "GMM" stand for?

GMM stands for Grandma Mary. GMM is how she always signed her greeting cards. Every little holiday: Halloween, St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, etc.. Growing up we used to get a dollar in each card and it always ended with "Love GMM". When she got sick, I started saving the cards she sent.

You can fill out the Custom Order Request Form linked in the buttom below. Once submitted, I’ll reach out within 2–3 business days to confirm details, materials, and timeline.

Q: What kind of materials can you use?

I work with clothing, blankets, uniforms, or other fabric items that hold meaning for you. You can indicate what you’re sending on the request form. I’ll confirm whether it’s suitable before beginning the project.

Q: How many items can I have made from one garment?

It depends on the size of the item and condition of the fabric. For example, one adult shirt typically makes 1–2 memory bears. It's also dependent on the size bear you choose. I’ll review your request and let you know what’s possible.

Q: Can I request embroidery or personalization?

Yes! Names, dates, short messages, or custom touches can often be added. Just include those details in your request form.

Q: Do you return leftover fabric?

Yes — unless otherwise requested, I return all usable fabric scraps along with your finished item.

Q: How long does a custom order take?

Turnaround time varies based on the item and my current queue, but most custom pieces take 4–6 weeks after materials are received. Rush orders may be available for an added fee — just ask.

Q: How do I send you the clothing or fabric?

Once your order is confirmed, I’ll send instructions for mailing or dropping off your materials (if you're local to Green Bay, WI).

Q: Do you ship internationally?

At this time, I only ship within the U.S.

Q: Can I place a non-memorial custom order (like a themed pillow or crochet piece)?

Yes! I love custom work. Use the same order form and just specify what you're looking for — whether it’s for a gift, decor, or something just for you.

Q: Do you take bulk or group orders?

Yes! For special occasions like family memorials, weddings, or group gifts. Contact me early to ensure availability and planning time!

Q: Are your items safe for children?

Memory items are made as keepsakes and not intended for rough play or young children. If you’re looking for a child-safe version, let me know and I’ll make appropriate adjustments such as: no safety eyes and buttons, reinforcing seams, using hypoallergenic/washable stuffing, and reinforce fabrics with interfacing to increase strength. Let me know the child's age in your request form and I will tailor the design accordingly.
